Second Harvest Food Bank
Hamilton UMC serves as an area distribution center for those in need of food. The Food Bank is open on the following days:
Mondays: 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.
Wednesdays: 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.
Saturdays: 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Please bring you and your families Social Security cards and proof of address when you come.
It's my Mother's Fault!
When I was growing up, my mother provided us with opportunities to visit children at a local hospital, take older people a May Day basket or do something to help others in need. I blame it on her that I still have a desire to help others. If you are off work for the summer or your children are home for the summer and wondering what to do, we have an excellent place for you to spend a couple hours.
Second Harvest is a great way for you or your family to donate time to help others. It doesn't cost anything, special talents are not required, all you have to do is show up.
Our hours are posted above, We also need to stock shelves in between during the week. Please contact Kathy LaGrow. This church has been a great help to many in our community. Thank you to all our volunteers.
