Parents' Day Out Ministry

Parents Day Out
The Parents' Day Out Program offers a loving
Christian environment in which children can work and play happily
together as they learn and grow. The program was established in
1979 by members of HUMC as an outreach ministry and service to our community.
While participating in this program, the children are guided by
wonderful teachers as they learn to express their feelings through crafts,
singing, games, stories, and playtimes.
This ministry is available on Tuesdays,
Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9 am - 2 pm. There are
classes for ages 9 months to 4-year olds. Teachers provide a loving
environment and introduction to social interactions, including play,
crafts, field trips.
Special Needs Ministry welcomes children with disabilities and chronic illnesses to a safe, caring place to worship. Classroom is staffed and open Sundays 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. The classroom is staffed by an accredited Special Needs teacher, Debbie Patterson.
The Men's Club holds their monthly breakfast/meeting on the first Saturday of the month at 7:30 a.m. UM Men
The UMW offers spiritual growth through fellowship, devotions, and missions. "Day Circle" meets on the 2nd Tuesday of every month at the church at 10:30 a.m. United Methodist Women
Boy Scouts Troop #275 meets every Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. Ray McKelvy is our scoutmaster and Doug Hunter is our Scouting Coordinator. Boy Scouts
The Hamilton Drama Ministry performs skits and scenes during worship throughout the year. We periodically perform full length plays with a message. Plays previously produced include "Our Town" by Thornton Wilder and "You Can't Take it With You" by Kauffman and Hart.
The Drama Ministry is open to all interested adults, children, and youth.
